Sofia Pettersson is a jazzsinger with a very personal sound and honest expression and she has made a name of herself in Sweden. Sofia has been inspired by Ricki Lee Jones, Nancy Wilson, Paul Simon a.o. Her repertoir is smiling Swedish jazz with a touch of the American 60’s. She has found her sound by picking up ingredients such as the rhythm and acoustic sound in jazz and smooth and hooking melodies from soul/pop and mixed that with the delicate sensitivety in her voice.
