This is guitar legend Chet Atkins in front of full, lush string arrangements by Dennis Farnon and his Orchestra. This session from 1958 was recorded direct to two track tape in Hollywood. Chet is amazing and this recording will prove it..twelve tunes with something for everyone. ---------- Recorded in Hollywood California adjacent to the current Classic Records Location (ex - RCA records warehouse) this album is widely recognized as one of Chet Atkins best efforts. Transferred from the original 15 ips, 2-track 1/4"master tapes this album sings tunes from Fats Waller among others and features orchestral accompaniment. The sound is great on 200g SV-P for the first time and so is the second "girl cover" that replaced the original.
